If you are looking for a small, personable gathering of friendly
slash (boys liking other boys) fans, Con*Strict could be the convention for you!
Our main focus is programming and social interaction, and we average
35-40 people in peek years with our limit set at 50(ish). There is no real dealer's room
or art show.
We produce a commemorative con zine that is always looking for
contributors, and we also have a vid show, if you're so inclined.

There will be a block of rooms reserved through June 30th - king singles and double queens for $74 per night, and king suites for $84 per night. When you call the hotel, please make sure to let them know that you are with the Con*Strict group. The block is filling up, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Programming:

Early Check-In -- Thursday

Because so many folks come in early, Registration will be open in the Hospitality Suite (most likely in one of the Suites in building two) late afternoon. One or more group dinners, offsite, are likely to happen too.

Meet & Greet Reception, Party Games and Vid Show -- Friday

Make new friends, get reacquainted with old friends, sneer at your rivals. Most of you are used to this by now; the reception is simply set as an opportunity to socialize in a non structured setting and enjoy pizza (probably) and cake (likely) before leading into the Vid Show which is usually tailored to the specific interests of the attendees with new offerings from con-goers along with some of the best vids on the web.

Saturday Night at the Movies

We're still open for a group movie off-site, or just hanging in the lounge with or without good movies to enjoy, or bad movies to laugh at together.

Panel Programming

Sherlock, Star Wars, Hannibal, Dr. Who, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with many more shows and movies are the likely topics this year, along with meta discussions about writing, fandom and other topics of general interest. If you have a suggestion, send them in even if you don't want to take the lead in moderating the panel (most panels are not moderated beyond keeping folk from straying too far offtopic unless that's a group decision.
