Programming: Early Check-In -- Thursday Because so many folks come in early, Registration will be open in the Hospitality Suite (most likely the Topaz Suite in building two) late afternoon. A group dinner offsite is likely to be planned. Meet & Greet Reception, Party Games and Vid Show -- Friday Make new friends, get reacquainted with old friends, sneer at your rivals. Most of you are used to this by now. Emu has asked to bow out of hosting any party games, so at the moment the reception is simply set as an opportunity to socialize in a non structured setting. There will be cake and frivolity, then the Vid Show which is usually focused on specific interests of the group and hosts a steadily increasing number of offerings from con-goers along with some of the best of the web. Saturday Night at the Movies We're still open for a group movie off-site, or just hanging in the lounge with or without bad movies to laugh at. Supernatural, Leverage, Hawaii Five-0, Dr. Who, and Stargate and many more shows and movies are the likely topics this year, along with meta discussions. If you have a suggestion, send them in even if you don't want to take the lead in the panel. Poolside Programming Not formal, but this is Vegas, and we have a very nice one at the hotel that sees a lot of con action in the evening. Hopefully we will be able to have extended hours again this year, but remember that is always dependent on noise. After the Con -- Sunday We've not tried any of the male reviews for a couple of years, so that's always a possibility, or maybe just more pool-side conversations with the majority who hang over until Monday or Tuesday.
Commemorative Zine: This year's theme is #12 -- BoxCars, so that means gambling, planes, trains and automobiles (or any travel/journey themes). Zine contributions need to be submitted by June 15th, please; ComicCon is the week before, so I have to have everything done before I leave if possible.
